These are some of the cats we have rescued

Dumped on the steps of the PDSA, this is exactly how these poor cats were found. They were named Charles and Camilla by the PDSA staff and it turned out that Camilla was heavily pregnant.
Cat Squad were called who immediately took the cats into foster care. Camilla gave birth the next morning and had five beautiful kittens.
Charles, Camilla and the kittens are currently looking for their forever homes.

Annie was found straying on a busy road by a member of the public. Cat Squad quickly found Annie's owner who was already actively trying to find her another home. The owner surrendered Annie to Cat Squad and she is currently in foster care awaiting her spay and vaccinations.

Roly Poly was found straying and Cat Squad were called by a concerned member of the public. Roly Poly was microchipped but after door knocking the owners home address it turned out she had died. Roly Poly was quickly rehomed to a neighbour.

Kitty's owner couldn't look after her so asked Cat Squad to help her find Kitty another home. She is so lovely it didn't take long and Kitty is now settled in to her new home

Dennis was left when his owners moved away and became a regular stray around an area of Southend. Cat Squad took a long time to trap this boy. He had an offer of a home from a neighbour if only she could catch him. We caught him eventually and had him vet checked. He needed some teeth out and his matts and worms sorted out. He is now happy in his new home.

Trevor lived on the streets in Southend and slept in a rubbish pile. He was reported to Cat Squad and a search for his owner yielded no result so he was vet checked, neutered and he is in long term foster care.

Tom was left behind when his owners moved away. He strayed in the area for around seven years before Cat Squad were called to rescue him. He had a nasty wound and infected eyes which are now treated.
Tom couldn’t get used to a cage and has been moved into a pen where he is much happier and can run around. Tom is now semi feral and when he is ready, we have a place for him as a farm cat where he will be looked after as well as being allowed to roam.

Eight tiny kittens were rescued from a cat hoarder along with their two mothers. One kitten sadly died but our fosterer brought up seven of them with their mums and when the kittens were old enough all were rehomed.

Picture
Milly isn't really a rescue, she was handed over to Cat Squad by her owners because she didn't get on with their other cats.
It didn't take long before her perfect owners were found.

Picture
Sooty was seriously injured when she was run over.  She came to Cat Squad and was placed with a fosterer until she had healed enough to be spayed and rehomed.
As soon as she was ready she found her purrfect home in no time, she was so adorable.

Trish and Porter are mother and daughter whose owner died and they came to Cat Squad to be fostered and rehomed. They had lived their lives together so we found somebody who took them both and now they are happy again in their new home.

Wilbur strayed around an area of Shoeburyness for a couple of years and was looked after by a resident who tried her best but failed to find his owner. Cat Squad couldn't find an owner either so he was put into foster care. Wilbur was rehomed by our companion cat rescue in East London and he is now happy in his forever home.

Toby Toebeans is another victim of being left behind when his owners moved. He was handed to Cat Squad by a concerned neighbour. We had to do a fundraiser for Toby because he had serious problems with his teeth and had to have many extractions. His mouth took a long time to heal and he had a course of steroids. Eventually Toby healed and he was rehomed by our companions in London. He is now a happy cat loving his new home.

Arthur was rescued as a kitten when he was found straying in Southend. He was born to a stray mother who sadly abandoned her kittens.
Arthur was adopted by his fosterer. Here he is sitting on his cat tower..

Delilah and Dolly and Dolly's kitten Duke, were all rescued from a hoarder and rehomed together. Look at their happy faces!

Trixie was rescued as a stray kitten near Southend. Cat Squad sent her to our colleagues in East London who took care of her until she was ready to be rehomed. She has now been adopted and is enjoying her forever home.

Pickle Lilly was a young cat only around seven months old when she was discovered straying in Southend. She was trapped and sent to our companions in East London where it was discovered she was pregnant. Pickle Lilly gave birth to two lovely kittens.

Tyson was found straying in Southend and brought to Cat Squad. He was chipped so we located his owner who didn’t want him back. This very friendly cat was quickly rehomed.
